Why does this fat burning fitness plan work so well? The answer to that is a bit complicated but I'll try to simplify it. The Fat X Program is based on the most proven and effective techniques proven through the sports sciences. These workout, exercise, and fitness techniques are organized and condensed into a 12 day period to work together synergistically. The synergistic effect maximally and efficiently stimulates the bodies metabolic processes which in turn produce awesome results quickly.
In basic terms, I took the best of everything that I've learned through my education and experience in the fitness profession and I put it together in one program without time consuming and unnecessary fluff or excess.
I highly recommend taking it easy the first time through the fat burning workouts and through the Fat X Program. While it was designed to be completed in 12 days, you don't need to complete it that fast to get the amazing fat burning and weigh loss (fat loss) results.
Here's the first free workout video of the 12 day Fat X Program (FX 12). Prepare yourself for a good workout and for some upcoming major fat loss. I streamlined the new videos, so remember to do a 5 minute warm up before each workout/day. Complete information is in the workout manual.

Calorie Counters Beware

The pictures are meant to show that counting calories can be extremely deceptive when it comes to the overall health value of your diet. Both the Asian chicken salad from McDonalds and the Snickers bar have about 280 calories. If you don’t take the nutritional value of what you’re eating into account, and only count the calories, you’re going to have a tough time losing weight short and long term.
I’ve had several people tell me that they’ve have cut back their calories, and that they only consume so many calories a day, but yet can’t lose weight. My first question to them is always, “where are your calories coming from?” The answer to that question usually reveals that although they’re cutting back on calories, the choices of where those calories come from are usually along the lines of snicker bars and other nutritionally empty foods. The good news is that this is easy to fix. Before choosing something to eat, don’t just count the calories, but question the nutritional value.
By the way I love Snickers!
Fat X Diet Fat Burning and Weight Loss Diet Video
Here's a quick video I put together explaining the Fat X diet and how you can use it to burn fat and lose weight. Feel free to ask any questions on the Fat X diet and the Fat X diet strategies to get in more nutrition in your diet. What I had on the table would have been the rations for 12 days. Hopefully this helps you understand the diet strategy. Good luck with your fat burning and weight loss goals.
Top 3 Tips for Rapid Weight Loss
I use these tips when one of my clients wants to speed up results. They might seem a little extreme, but they definitely work to get the fat off sooner. By the way I'm hoping to have the day by day training videos out soon.
#3 Pre-load Your Stomach
Drink a glass of water before your meal. Then eat your vegetables first. Drink another glass of water slowly and then proceed to the rest of your meal.
#2 Black Coffee Before Meals
Caffeine has been shown to be a metabolism enhancer as well as an appetite suppressant. Have it black an hour or so before your next meal.
#1 Eat Standing
Yeah I know it sounds crazy, but you'll actually burn a few extra calories if you stand. Multiply those few extra calories x 4-6 meals a day and hey, now you have something. It's also a bit uncomfortable so you'll be more likely to move on with the days activities once your satisfied instead of sitting there eating and eating.

Eating Out and a Healthy Diet
One of the excuses that I hear the most is, “I can’t stick to a healthy diet because I’m on the road a lot”. This would almost have been a valid excuse years ago, but now there’s a wide array of healthy choices at fast food restaurants.
As I was running errands today I got really hungry and knew I wasn’t going to be able to get home any time soon. I decided to stop and get a bite to eat before continuing with my errands. As I looked up at the menu I wondered if anything would fit the Fat X diet guidelines. I found something that was perfect. They offered something called a taco salad. It was basically a salad in a big bowl like taco shell. It contained lettuce, chopped tomatoes, sliced and marinated zucchini, cucumber, and some avocado. Finally they topped it with steak strips, but you could choose chicken instead. This is what I ordered, but it reminded me that if you think before you eat, you can always make a healthier choice

A Breakfast Idea for Weight Loss
One of the concerns that my clients have had was with breakfast. Either they would skip it, or it was just really unhealthy and stacked with calories. Both bad if you're trying to lose fat weight. So here is a quick an easy breakfast that will stick to the Fat X guide lines and is also really easy and fast to make.
4-6 egg whites
1 whole egg
1 piece of toast
1-2 celery sticks
3-4 cherry tomatoes ( i know tomatoes are actually a fruit, but they'r so good for you I just stick to considering them veggies)
Putting that together shouldn't take more than a few minutes. If you don't want to use any of your 5% splurge allotment on toast, then skip the toast and replace it with more celery or another green veggie of your choice.

Shrimp Cocktail, the Perfect Diet Food?
There are a few reasons why this is the perfect diet food, at least for me. Number one, and most importantly, it tastes great. Two, just take a look at the ingredients, mostly veggies and a fat free low calorie protein source, it fits the Fat X diet guidelines perfectly without even using up your 5% splurge allowance. And with summer right around the corner, it’s perfect on a hot day. Here’s a link to a recipe I like, feel free to comment and add any other recipes you might have.

Fitness Equipment and Your Workout
Most people spend waaaay too much money on fitness equipment. Most pieces of fancy cardio equipment are unnecessary. They contain bells and whistles that you can easily do without. As a matter of fact cardio machines are meant to do one thing, and we must remember that. They are meant to elevate your heart rate. There are cheaper ways to get that done. You can actually do that for free with, jumping jacks, jumping rope, running in place and other body weight exercises. But if you want a piece of cardio equipment in your fitness room I would suggest something really simple and inexpensive like a stationary bike or an elliptical machine.
If you’re a beginner I would start with a dumbbell set, the lighter weight sets are inexpensive an extremely versatile when it comes to doing different exercises. I usually have my beginner clients use dumbbells exclusively. If you’ve seen the video with my female client, the total price of the equipment I had her use I would estimate was under $500.
In order of importance this is what I would purchase if I was a beginner and was setting up a fitness room.
Dumbbell set
Work out bench
Safety cage
Barbell and barbell plates

Where to Workout?
There are a variety of choices when it comes to where to workout. You can workout at a gym, at home, a park etc. Before starting on a fitness routine it should be one of the most important questions you need to have answered. There are pro's and con's to where ever you choose to workout, but make sure the choice is right for you.
I choose to workout in my own personal fitness room. It's a room I had built in my garage ( you can see it in the youtube videos). Because of my training methods, circuits and perpetual motion routines, I knew working out in a commercial gym wasn't going to be for me, so investing in putting together my own fitness room was ideal. The fact that I would also be training clients that would rather workout in private was another reason I went with investing in building my own fitness room/gym.

Pro's to building your own Fitness room/Gym
- Privacy
- No travel time to and from the Gym
- No need to wait for equipment
- Best for circuit training and perpetual motion routines
- Less distractions
- Don't have to worry about other people's sweat on equipment
Con's
- Requires an initial investment in equipment
- It can get lonely
- No one to ask for a spot
If you decide you want to try putting your own fitness room together, don't think you have to invest a lot of money, especially if you're a beginner. You don't even have to buy new equipment, you can check out Craigslist or just look for bargains online. I'll go into to how you can start putting a room together with all you really need for a few hundred bucks in future posts.
My Top Fat Burning Snack
My favorite fat burning snack was something I learned to make or eat as a kid. When I was in 5th grade someone came to our school to talk to us about health and healthy eating. At that age, as soon as she started to speak, my mind went blank and all I really heard was blah blah blah. But there was one thing that caught my attention. She started talking about healthy snacks that we could make ourselves as kids. One of them was peanut butter and celery sticks. The other was peanut butter and apple slices. I wasn't too interested in the celery, but when I tried the apple slices and peanut butter I was pleasantly surprised as to how good it actually tasted. When the novelty wore off I went back to snacking on chips and candy bars for the next few years, getting chubby along the way.
As I started getting serious about fitness and healthy eating, one of my main objectives was to be able to eat healthy, without hating what I ate. I remembered the celery and peanut butter, and added it to my diet as a snack. When I did the original Fat X Project it became my go to meal/snack in the evenings, and as you can see in the results, it really paid off. There's a couple of reasons why this snack will help you shed the fat. One, celery is extremely low in calories but high in fiber. Some experts even claim it takes more calories to eat and digest celery than the calories it contains. Two, peanut butter contains mostly fat and protein. The fat is considered a good fat and when you consume mostly protein and fat towards the end of your day, your body will switch to using fat as an energy source and therefore burn fat while you sleep. It will continue to use fat as fuel until you wake up and eat breakfast.

Fat X Fat Burning Diet Plan
The fat burning Fat X Diet plan is critical if you want to lose a lot of fat during the Fat X Program. It is extremely important to stick to the food percentage guidelines as closely as possible to burn fat optimally. While most diet plans are extremely difficult to stick to, the Fat X Diet is not, because in all actuality, the fat burning Fat X Diet is actually more of a philosophy than the traditional sense of the term "diet". The diet plan is more of a way to prioritize what you eat, so that you can simplify the topic of dieting and get better and longer lasting fat burning (fat loss) results.
Like a fine suit, the fat burning Fat X Diet can, and should be tailored to fit you and your lifestyle. The food percentage guidelines and philosophy behind the diet is what's important, not so much the exactness and specificity of each food choice. With the Fat X Diet, you concentrate on nutrition and not calorie counting. The most nutritious foods, and those that will contribute to your fat burning goal take priority. Ultimately, you choose what foods to include in the diet.
So, before you start with the Fat X Diet, the most important thing to do is to look over the food guidelines and to clean up your kitchen. By clean up, I mean remove the foods that are not necessary/not nutritious and that will not contribute to your fat burning goals. This way, you can easily stick to the guidelines and philosophy of the fat burning Fat X Diet.
Once you clean up your kitchen and get rid of the anti-fat burning foods, then you must go out and shop for everything you’re going to eat for while you do the Fat X Program. But remember, it must fit the Fat X diet guidelines. Losing a large amount of fat during this project is largely due to the fact that you eliminate temptations. Out of sight out of mind. The last concept that makes that Fat X diet successful is that you ration the food you purchased and you do not, I repeat, do not stray from your rations for the 12 days. I believe in less talk and more do, so here are the guidelines:
• 60% Vegetables (preferably green) good examples are celery, cucumbers, broccoli, and bell peppers. (berries can be substituted)
• 30% Protein Sources, good examples are Chicken breast, fish, lean red meat, eggs, turkey breast, and a good protein powder supplement.
• 5% Fruit and Nuts
• 5% Anything you might crave, and this is a must for this plan to work. It will help you mentally to get you through the plan.
Make sure that everything you purchase for your 12 day rations fit these guidelines. But remember, they are just guidelines. Try it and start to burn fat!

Fat burning Fat X and Weight Loss Diet part 1
The Fat X program consists of two equally importants parts, one is the specialized fat loss training and the other is the fat loss diet. The nice thing about the fat loss diet is that it is simple, and nothing about it is controversial or overly difficult to stick with. As a matter of fact, it’s not really a diet but more of a diet strategy. Let’s face it, we all know what we should be eating and what we should be avoiding. Do we really need to read a 300 pg book written by Dr. Whoever to tell us that? What we all need is a practical method or strategy to eat healthy, while still enjoying our food indulgences. That’s where the Fat X diet strategy comes into play. In part two I’ll cover the specifics.
How to Begin a Fat Burning Fat X Project
So you've seen the pictures and the videos and you're motivated, great!! But now what? Well this will be the most important step in the whole process. Take a good look at a calender and pick a twelve day span that you are willing to dedicate to this project. Make sure that you eliminate and/or limit any possible excuses that will get in the way of you exercising or sticking to the Fat X diet. Again, this is the most important step, so take your time and really plan ahead. Here are two of my favorite motivational quotes to get you started:
- "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail"
- " A million mile journey begins with the first step"
Here's my intro video on myspace for some extra motivation.
