Three Tips To Lose The Most Fat Possible With The Fat X Program

I've gotten several e-mails from people that have done the Fat X program or that are doing it, and from those e-mails I have compiled a list of three tips that will help you get the most out of the FX program. Whether you're just starting the FX program or are doing it over, these three tips are sure to help you burn the most fat and lose the most fat weight possible.

1. Get A Timer. The FX program is efficient because it keeps you on track with time limits and total time it takes to complete workouts. Sticking to these times and being accurate with your record keeping will definitely improve your results.

2. Follow The Order of Exercises and Order of Workouts. The FX workouts, whole and complete, are greater than the sum of it's parts (exercises). The whole and complete program is greater than the sum of it's parts (workouts). I highly suggest making yourself a guide, spread sheet, or some type of flow chart to keep you on the right track, or you can simply download the Fat X Workout Guide.

3. Plan Your Workout Times. One of my favorite quotes is "if you fail to plan, you plan to fail". Set up a time when you can complete your workouts and a place. Stick to the plan!

These three tips are sure to help you get the most out of the Fat X program. Clients I have personally put through the program have lost and average of two inches off their waste and several pounds of fat. These tips will definitely help you achieve similar results.

Fat Burning, Weight Loss, Diet and Fitness Q&A of the Week-Ab Circle Pro

Every week I answer a question or questions that are sent in to me regarding fat burning, weight loss, diet, fitness and or the Fat X program. Today's question was e-mailed in and was about the Ab Circle Pro.

Hello coach,

I was just wondering what your thoughts on the Ab Circle Pro are. Have you read any reviews on it, or have an friends who have this new fat burning invention. I see so many commercials for it, and it tempts me to purchase it. I just want to make sure how effective it is first.

Thanks for your time coach!

Tamar

The Ab Circle Pro is another device that exercises your abs. That's it! It's not on it's own going to burn fat, make your stomach flat or anything else like that. In the fitness industry there's always a new abs device coming out. The Ab Circle Pro is just the latest re-invention. What these ab devices have in common is that they over promise and under deliver. The commercial states that with just 3 minutes a day you'll firm and flatten your stomach. I know it sounds good, but it takes a lot more than that to really burn fat and get to the point where you can see a flat stomach or six pack abs. It truly does take a complete exercise and diet program to accomplish getting a flat stomach or six pack abs. If that's your goal, luckily you have the Fat X Program to help you. The workout videos are free, and if you need a little extra help you can download the workout guide.

A Fat Loss Diet Mistake

One of the biggest mistakes when people try lose weight is that they do not consume enough protein. An important thing to remember is that protein feeds, repairs, maintains and helps build muscle. If you're trying to burn fat and lose weight, muscle is going to help this process by speeding up your metabolism. Muscle burn calories 24 hours a day 7 days a week. It's estimated that one pound of muscle tissue will burn 6-10 calories per day as opposed to one pound of fat which only burns 2 calories a day. So feeding, maintaining, and helping repair muscle tissue by consuming enough protein is extremely important in losing fat.

Fat Burning, Weight Loss, Diet and Fitness Q&A of the Week-Breakfast

Every week I answer a question or questions that are sent in to me regarding fat burning, weight loss, diet, fitness and or the Fat X program. Today's question was about breakfast on the Fat X diet.

Hi Coach,

I've been using your program for a week now. I've lost three pounds and have just finished workout 4. My only problem is breakfast. Can you give me some ideas on breakfast so that I can continue following the diet. Thanks for your time.

Mike

Breakfast is probably the most difficult on the Fat X diet. I would suggest using some of your splurge allowance so that you can enjoy your breakfast and get your day started off well. Here is a list of things I usually have for breakfast. Hopefully it will help you out.

Protein Smoothie: protein powder and frozen strawberries mixed in with crystal light or gatorade.

Eggs and Toast: 2-3 whole eggs, 2-3 egg whites and 1-2 slices of whole grain toast or tortillas

Yogurt: I'll use a plain yogurt, mix in some protein powder, chop up some nuts and mix it all together

Omelette: 2-3 eggs, chopped up bell peppers, tomatoes, and I'll add some cheese. I'll have it with some fruit.

Hope this helps, and good luck completing the the Fat X program. You're on the right track and I'm sure you'll do well.

Spark Your Diet Motivation

Eating a healthy diet 100% of the time can get a bit boring. If you've tried the Fat X diet you know that there is a splurge allowance, but even then, sometimes you need to spark your motivation and spark your healthy diet by taking a step back. I call it taking a diet break.

Taking a diet break is a good idea when you find yourself craving things or are getting bored with healthy eating choices. Before your whole diet plan blows up and you revert to bad eating habits, the idea is to take a break and spark your motivation. By doing this correctly it won't set your short term goals back to much, and will really help your long term goals.

When I take a diet break, or I feel one of my clients needs a diet break, I'll plan it out. I'll make sure that I have a really healthy and nutritious eating day before I take a diet break. That way the nutrition seeps into the day I will not be eating so healthy. The other important thing is to have the day after the diet break planned out as well. This will make it easy to jump back on a healthy eating plan.

If you're starting to slip on your diet and feel you need to spark your motivation, try a diet break. One day isn't going to kill your fat loss efforts as long as you plan things out and are working out properly. A diet break should help your long term fat loss goals.

Fat Burner Do's and Don'ts

What are fat burners? What are they supposed to do? Do they work? Should I take one? Whenever I get a new client, the topic of fat burners and or a weight loss supplements usually comes up and these questions are asked. I'll try to answer these questions about fat burners here, and also put together a do's and don'ts list to make things a little easier.

Fat burners are marketed as a diet supplement and are supposed to help you burn/lose fat. These supplements normally contain compounds that have been shown to boost the metabolism, curb hunger, and give you energy. The specific compounds are mixed in together in different quantities or formulas by the different companies selling these products.

Fat burners can help your fat loss/ weight loss goals if used properly. On the other hand, they can be a total waste of time and money if used improperly. So here's the fat burners do's and don'ts list to help you decide on wether to supplement with one or not.

  • Don't use a fat burner as an alternative to diet and exercise
  • Do use a product that contains caffeine as caffeine has been shown to boost metabolism
  • Do consult your physician before using a fat burner or any other supplement
  • Don't use a fat burner late at night as they do contain stimulants
  • Do use a product that contains green tea as it's also been shown to boost metabolism
  • Don't use more than what is recommended
  • Do research the ingredient list in your chosen fat burner
  • Do keep track of progress to see if it's worth your investment
  • Don't expect magical results
  • Do buy from a reputable company

Fat Burning, Weight Loss, Diet and Fitness Q&A of the Week-Supplement to Tone

Every week I answer a question or questions that are sent in to me regarding fat burning, weight loss, diet, fitness and or the Fat X program. Today's question was about getting more toned by using a supplement.

Hi Coach,

I've lost almost two inches of my waist following your workout program. I look a lot more toned than I did before but I want to step it up because I'm going on a cruise in early August. Is there a supplement I can be taking to tone up even more and faster?

Chris

When it comes to fat burning supplements, I hold back on recommending them because most people try to use them as a replacement to a good workout and diet program and not as a supplement. I've been asked this question in various forms many times, so I've decided to work on a do's and don'ts article when it comes to fat burning supplements. I will finish that up and post it A.S.A.P. Check in and hopefully it will shine some light on the topic.

Time To Tone it Up

After the 4th of July weekend, it's definitely time for me to tone it up. I need to tone up my diet and tone up my workouts. I must admit I was slacking a bit. I got complacent and I started having more diet break days than actually being on the Fat X diet. So what am I going to do to tone my body up, my diet and my workouts?

First, I want to jump start my diet by ending every day with a bowl of mixed vegetables. Actually I've already started. I started doing this Sunday night. The purpose of this is to make sure I'm getting close to the 60% vegetable requirement in the Fat X diet. Also, this limits my cravings. As many of you know, vegetables are highly nutritious and they're high in fiber which keeps you full and satisfied longer. I cheat and put a little butter on them to make them tastier.

Secondly, I'm starting the Fat X workouts again after being off for a while. I still have my records from the previous times I've done the program so now all I have to do is try to beat the numbers. The challenge of it I know will keep me motivated.

If it's time for you to tone up and you haven't done the Fat X Program, begin A.S.A.P.

Workout Videos vs A Workout Program

People can find free workout videos. There are several websites including but not limited to Youtube and spark people (sparkpeople.com) where you can find free workout videos. The problem is that a workout video is not a workout program. The difference is that a workout program is greater than the sum of it's parts. A good workout program should be set up so that each workout benefits the next in some way so as to increase it's synergy with all the other workouts in the program. There should be a path that is being followed so that a goal becomes closer and closer as you progress through the program.

The exercises in each workout should be set up in an order to maximize not only the results in that specific workout, but how that workout will fit in to the rest of the program, insuring the effectiveness of the complete program. One of the biggest mistakes people make when deciding they want to start an exercise program is that they do too much of one thing and not enough of others. This is common with beginners and is usually the main reason they do not get the results they want, over train, and or get demotivated.

If you're not doing the Fat X workout program, make sure that your exercise and fitness program is set up properly so that you can maximize your fat burning, weight loss, and fitness goals. If you are planning on doing the Fat X program consider downloading the Fat X Workout Guide so that you can maximize your results.

Fat Burning, Weight Loss, Diet and Fitness Q&A of the Week-Abs

Every week I answer a question or questions that are sent in to me regarding fat burning, weight loss, diet, fitness and or the Fat X program. Today's question was about abs.

Hi Coach,

I was just wondering how much your body fat percentage has to be to see abs. I want my abs to show this summer but I'm 15% body fat.

Ronald

In order for your abs to show, there are two things that come into play. Number one is muscle, you have to have some abdominal muscle. The Fat X workout program will work you abdominal area through various exercises. Number two, your body fat generally has to be around 9% for the abdominal muscle to show through. You are very close. If you stick to the program I would definitely expect you to have a six pack or be close to it by the end of the month. Good luck.

The Secret About Belly Fat

One of the most common questions I get as a Fitness Coach is, "What's the secret to getting rid of belly fat?". The secret to getting rid of belly fat is understanding what belly fat is, and what it is not. Belly fat is the same as thigh fat, arm fat, neck fat, and any other type of body fat. It's excess calories stored on your body in a storage site. The belly just happens to be one of these main storage sites.

Marketers would like you to believe that there is some kind of magic exercise, pill or potion that will get rid of this belly fat. The truth, or secret if you will, is that the fastest way to reduce belly fat or any other type of fat stored on your body is through a properly designed workout program and a healthy diet. When your body fat percentage begins to fall because of proper exercise and diet, you will notice the body fat percentage drop in the belly area. The real secret is that your genetics will determine where the fat is likely to come off first and be the most noticeable, but eventually everyone will notice a significant body fat percentage drop in their belly area.
