Fat Burning, Weight Loss, Diet and Fitness Q&A of the Week-Tracking Fat Loss

Every week I answer a question or questions that are sent in to me regarding fat burning, weight loss, diet, fitness and or the Fat X program. I took last week off to but I'm back this week. Today's question was e-mailed in and was in regards to keeping track of fat loss/fat burning progress.

Hi Coach,

I'll be starting your fat burning program tomorrow and was wondering what the best way to keep track of my progress was. Should I weigh myself every day, every week?

Thanks for your help.

Linda

There's a few ways I like to keep track of fat loss/fat burning progress. The first one is to take before pictures. After all, one of your goals is probably to look better or leaner. I would do this weekly. The other method of keeping track of progress that I prefer is to take measurements with a simple tape measure. It's quick, easy and will also give you a good idea of what's going on with your body fat. Lastly, I really don't like using a scale because it tends to be the most inaccurate way of measuring fat loss/fat burning progress or success. Your total body weight can fluctuate drastically depending on your hydration levels. Stick mostly to pictures and the tape measure method and good luck with the program.
