Fat Burning Workout Program Day 3

This is one of my favorite fat burning workouts. It includes some of my favorite exercises. Don't let the pull ups intimidate you. You can use a pull down machine, or those rubber tubing exercise bands instead. Included in this fat burning workout is one of the best, if not the best total abs exercise. It really works the abs hard and my clients usually have a love hate relationship with it. I call it the spin crunch, you'll see it towards the end of the free fat burning workout video..

The video for Days 3,8 & 10 are not working on Thursday & Friday Jan. 29-30, 2009. I am really interested in doing this plan once I complete marathon training.

Hey Logan, thanks for the heads up. I'll look into it and try to have it back up and running soon.

for the incline DB press. you said 5 reps right. then pick a weight that you can max out to for 8-10 reps. 8-10 reps of the DB press or the entire circuit? im gonna start day 3 tom thanks :)

I just checked the video for workout 2 and it seems to be working fine. Maybe you just had a bad connection??

By the way I missed the other comments so I'll quickly answer.

I recommend eating something before a workout as long as you have enough time to digest the meal. You need fuel to get you through a good workout. You should eat after as well so that you begin to recover optimally.

If you're having trouble with the specifics in regards to rep range I would highly suggest you download the FX Workout Guide/Manual and log. It will make it easy to follow.

The text says pull up but in the pic your doing chin ups does it matter or am I trying to work my chest or back more

Coach Rollie (FX) said...

Chin ups tend to be a little easier. You can do either though. The important thing is that it's a pulling movement working your upper back muscles.

The video is banned in Europe because of the audio music. Could you possibly upload with another track or muted?

The manual says I should do the last exercise w/ lunges & spin crunches for 3 minutes instead of 5. Is that a mistake?

John, there are small changes I made for the manual.
