Fat Burning, Weight Loss, Diet and Fitness Question of the Week

Every week I answer a question or questions that are sent in to me regarding fat burning, weight loss, diet, fitness and  or the Fat X program.  This week's question is regarding the Fat X diet.

I have a quick question. On the diet I see that 5% is fruit and 5% what you want. For the 12 days, how many pieces or servings of fruit would be 5 percent? Can you tell me the same with the cheatings. Thanks

The 5% is a guide line and approximation relative to the total volume of food consumed. When I did the original Fat X Project, I ate an orange, apple or banana in the morning and then another piece of fruit before the tougher workouts. My 5% cheating or splurge was a piece of dark chocolate. After you complete the project, you can adjust to fit your needs.

I have a question, How much weight is too much?

from sports and training (football, wresting, hockey) I've always been taught more weight is better so I'm used to working with heavy-mid weight. Does this affect the mass you build. instead of being leaner will it just be bulkier? also I'm running about 3-6miles a day and i lift weights every other day. I'm just looking for some direction! Because you website has motivated me to attempt a different approach to fitness.

There's a time and place for different types of training methods. Absolute strength is vital, but there are also other aspects to total fitness.
Using weights doesn't make your muscle lean or bulky, muscle is muscle. The lean or bulky look will come as a result of how much fat you have on top of your muscle. I hope this answers your questions.
