Fat Burning, Weight Loss, Diet and Fitness Question of the Week

Every week I answer a question or questions that are sent in to me regarding fat burning, weight loss, diet, fitness and or the Fat X program. Today's question was in regards to Fat Burning Workout 10 or day 10 of the Fat X program.

First of all I want to thank you for making these videos available for free.  I've gone through the first 9 days and I was amazed when I stepped on the scale and weighed myself today.  I have already lost 6 lbs and per your advise I also took measurements and I'm down about one inch around my belly area.  My question is about workout video 10.  I use a set of dumbbells that are adjustable and I was wondering if there was another way I could do this workout since I only have the one set and would have to change the weight each time.
Thanks,
Jamie

I have a dumbbell set available to me so that's what I use in my workouts and it's what I used to demonstrate the workout in the video, but remember that weight is weight, you don't necessarily need to use dumbbells for weight or resistance.  You can also use water bottles, sand bags, canned food or anything else you can think of that would add resistance.  I actually use sandbags a lot with my clients.  I'll have them do the squats by holding or hugging the sandbag in front of them.

You've probably seen or heard of kettle bells.  They've been marketed as this great tool to workout with.  The truth behind kettle bells is that the they were used by the russian army while exercising not because it was some special workout tool, but because it was just scrap metal laying around that added resistance to their exercises.  It was cheap and accessible so they implemented it into their workout routines. Anyway, just a little side note so that you don't limit yourself because of equipment limitations. Hope this helps and good luck.
