When I designed my fat burning 12 Day Fat X Program, I choose exercises that are easy to learn, require little or no workout equipment, and that would give you the most bang for your buck. These exercises are essential in getting a high ROI (return on investment). If you're going to invest time and effort, you want to maximize that right?
The Burpee is one of those top of the food chain exercises. Many people skip this exercise because it's tough. Don't skip it!! If need be, modify it. Here's a video going over 3 variations that I use so that you can blast your metabolic processes no matter where you are in your fitness journey.
When I personally put clients through the 12 Day Fat X Program, I choose the Burpee variation depending on their current fitness level. I would suggest starting with the basic version the first time through the program, and, switching to the advanced version once you increase your fitness level and need a bigger challenge.
